Vacodi (ABN 71 190 931 977, trading as Vacodi, operated by The Trustee for GIONBRUNO FAMILY TRUST) respects your privacy. This page explains what information this website collects, why it is collected, how it is stored, and how you can have it corrected or removed. It applies to vacodi.com and to enquiries made through this site or through the public Vacodi API.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you complete the enquiry form on this site, or when an application submits an enquiry on your behalf through the Vacodi API, we collect the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We do not ask for, and you should not send, payment card numbers, government identifiers, passwords, or health information through this form.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard web server logs, including your IP address, the pages requested, the time of the request, and your browser’s user agent string. These logs are used to keep the site available and secure. WordPress and our security plugin may set small identifier files in your browser that are strictly necessary for the site to function, and to detect abusive login attempts.
What we do not do. This site does not run advertising trackers, does not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and does not use your enquiry to build a marketing profile. We do not use enquiries submitted through this site to train machine learning models.
Why we collect it
We collect this information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to deliver the work you have asked for. Server logs are kept for security and reliability. We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
How it is stored and how long we keep it
Enquiries are delivered by email to Vacodi and are held in our business email system. The website itself is hosted by SiteGround. Access is limited to the people at Vacodi who need it. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the business relationship is active and for seven years afterwards, which is the period Australian record-keeping obligations require. Server logs are retained for a short period by our host and then discarded.
Sharing
We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the business: with our email and hosting providers acting as service providers on our behalf, and where we are required to by Australian law. We do not disclose your information to overseas recipients other than through those service providers.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email your request to the address on our contact page and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Automated agents and the public API
Vacodi publishes a small public API so that AI assistants and other software can read our service catalogue and submit an enquiry on a person’s behalf. Enquiries arriving through the API are treated exactly like enquiries submitted through the website form and are covered by this policy. The API records the client IP address of the submitting system for rate limiting and abuse prevention. If an assistant submits an enquiry for you, tell it only what you would be comfortable putting in an email.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date.
